  • The cost of NGS preparation is per 96-well plate.
  • Full NGS preparation service includes target PCR, bead-cleaning, barcoding, pooling, and QA/QC of final library. NGS preparation can also begin at bead cleaning if first round PCRs are submitted.

  • NGS run (400bp or less) – The cost is for an entire chip, which can house anywhere from 384-768 samples at a time. Multiple libraries/projects can be combined on a single chip to decrease each user’s cost.
  • NGS run (600bp or less) – The cost is for an entire chip, which can house up to 384 samples. Multiple libraries/projects can be combined on a single chip to decrease each user’s cost.
  • All NGS runs are conducted on the Ion Torrent systems.

  • The cost for NGS bioinformatic analysis includes all steps needed to analyze results from the Ion Torrent S5 system per sequencing chip. This process involves utilizing bioinformatic pipelines to demultiplex and BLAST against the NCBI (or custom) database.
